So what has been going on? I definitely rode the wave from up out of the recession. I had, emphasize had, a lot of oil holdings and I noticed that oil was the hot topic in a lot of stock market conversations. So against my better judgement, I held onto the 'paper gains' and slowly noticed the price of oil declining and refusing to sell my holdings. Well in short, I unloaded a lot of my holdings watching texas crude fall to $45. Anyway lesson learned, I have reallocated my sold holdings to other investments.
